Lovely Loch Ness

On our recent holiday overseas, we visited Loch Ness, in Scotland.

We found this great place to stay right on the Loch
and in an interesting and unique form of accomodation.

It is called a "Hobbit" and is a snug little cabin sleeping four.
With a double and two singles and not much else, there was no
need for the heater as we kept each other warm.

This cute log is located in a caravan / camper-van park and
has great facilities for kids. With a wonderful playground that
was safe and entertaining there was plenty to keep them amused.

There are local historic venues to visit and lovely walks around the Loch.
We visited Urquhart Castle and the kids spent hours wandering the ruins and
pretending to be princesses and knights hunting the dungeons for the dragon.

If you are visiting Scotland anytime soon check out the Hobbits and
stay right on Loch Ness. Eli spent  ages on the balcony looking for Nessy!
