Life is Tough.

After a hard morning of leading the Prep Parade, 

running races, egg and spoon balancing 

and all the fun of Prep Sports Day,

Eli was worn out and sat down to watch a movie while I put dinner on.

As he sat glued watching "The Incredibles" daddy arrived home
and set about making a fire for the first time this winter.
It has been so so cold lately that it was such a lovely way to spend the evening.

We made bread dough and wrapped it around sticks
and cooked it over the open flames, to have with dinner.

And then opened the packet of marshmallows.

Life is tough!
