Cookie Time!

Cookies are special in our house, I don't really bake them that often and when I do they go so fast they barely have time to cool down.

This double batch is to take camping with us. The kids will be delighted with the rainbow chips and the milk choc ones will go down well with a cup of tea after dinner.

They are very easy to make and have a fantastic authentic cookie taste.I have topped the cookies with the chocolates but they can be stirred into the mix for an equally great tasting result.

Ingredients

180 gr butter
1/3 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of condensed milk
1 & 1/2 cups of self raising flour
250 gr chocolate chips
[white + dark together are great]

Method

Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees celsius.
Cream the butter and sugar together in a bowl with an electric mixer.
Beat in the condensed milk, adding it slowly.
Add the flour and stir in until the mixture is well combined.
Add the choc bit into the mixture and stir in.
Take teaspoon size amounts and roll into balls,
placing the balls of mixture straight onto trays.
Bake for 15 mins or until golden.

Enjoy hot and gooey!
