Yummy Banana Bread
is so so good!
is so so good!
Not only does it taste spectacular with a cup of tea but it makes the house smell wonderful while it's cooking.
My kid just love bananas and so invariably there are always bananas in the house that need using up. Luke came across this receipe and he makes it too [usually with more mess] and I have added things to it . . . much to his disgust. This one has chocolate chips added with slithered almonds on top for a little crunch, but another favourite is banana bread with rasberries and white choc bits. YUMMY! It comes out of the tin neatly wrapped in paper and if you add some ribbon around the bottom, it makes a great gift. Or you can put them in patty papers for little hands too.
Here's how to make it:
Banana Bread:
Ingredients:
50 g Butter melted and cooled
1 3/4 cups Self Raising Flour
1/4 cup Plain Flour
1 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
3/4 cup packed Brown Sugar
2 ripe bananas mashed
2 eggs
1/2 cup Milk

Good idea. I'll be making some banana bread tonight!
