photoadayMAY #18 Something you made

I made these singlets - using Nanna trims & fabric for inspiration.
Bonds size 10 Black, Grey and White with Nanna doiley bits and motif.
Tree, apple and bird from the Mamabec logo.

Okay, so this photo taking caper is great but I'd like to make it a little more interactive.
THIS IS A GIVEAWAY:

Just like these vintage [Nanna] inspired singlets,
I want to hear about your Nanna inspired story.
Something your Nan says [or used to say],
your favourite thing she did, cooked or made.

The first three comments will get the singlet of their choice,
[First in best dressed - pun intended]
and I will post them to the winners.

Here's to all the Great Nannas!

  1. My Oma made the most amazing apple cake - and she always fed me "coffee" (three-quarters milk) which made me feel so grown up! I am so sad that with my grandparents in the Netherlands, I didn't get to spend more time with them growing up. Sadly, I have just my Opa left these days, but love keeping in touch with him on facebook! What a legend!
