The 12th Day of a Crafty Christmas: Setting up the Tree

This is a special time in our house every year,
even before we had kids, Luke and I  would 
spend time together putting up the tree.


Now of course it's super exciting!

I bought a 7 Ft tree this year, just cause

we can actually fit a big one in the new place.

And Eli did the honours of putting the star on top.

And of course you have to wear your santa hat

to bed and to breakfast the next morning.

So pretty to see it twinkling when the house is dark . . .

The magic of Christmas still makes me smile.
